Welcome to my self-hosted site! This site exists as a technical proof of concept, a fun personal project, and half of the deliverables for one of my University of Cincinnati Honors Experiences. If you are interested in the technical details, the Technology tab explores all the tools I used to bring this site, and the home server it runs on, to life. I hope the details I provide will inspire other curious individuals to attempt their own similar projects. I had a ton of fun and learned so much with this project. I want to help others have that same experience.
This project would not have been possible without the many resources I found online. To show my appreciation and share the knowledge, I created the Resources tab to list many of the tutorials, blogs, and forums that guided me on this journey. In particular, the open-source software community deserves a special shout-out. This project would not have been financially possible without some of the amazing projects that people have produced and shared for free. Because of their generosity, home servers like mine are more attainable than ever before.
Finally, if you would like to learn more about the man behind the curtain, check out the About Me tab. You may also notice inconspicuous links to my LinkedIn profile and University Honors site at the bottom of each page. Both of those sites are great places to learn more about me. If you have any questions about my projects, feel free to contact me at either my personal or university email address.
